Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge is back for 2020.

Charity riders cycling together arriving in Paris after cycling from Bristol

Over the last five years, Above & Beyond’s flagship event has seen 336 intrepid cyclists take on the challenge, cycling a total of 146,000 kilometres and raising the incredible sum of more than £746,000 for your Bristol hospitals.

This year’s event will take place from Wednesday 9 to Sunday 13 September, with the four days of cycling ending with a triumphant arrival in Paris on Saturday 12 September.

From there you will have an exceptional celebration meal and stay in central Paris. On Sunday you will have the morning to explore the French capital before travelling back to Bristol. All accommodation, food and transport back to Bristol is provided.

The challenge is a total of 450km and is open to all abilities – from beginner to elite cyclists. Guided training rides, nutrition advice and fundraising tips are all provided by the Above & Beyond team. The route will take you and the team from Ashton Court through the English countryside to Portsmouth, where you will board the overnight ferry to Le Havre. From there you will be rewarded with stunning views of French farms, churches and countryside before arriving in Paris at the Eiffel Tower.

The registration fee for the 2020 challenge is £150, with a fundraising target of £2,000. Our fundraising team will be on hand to offer advice, materials and anything else you might need to help you smash the target.

The money you raise will go directly to Bristol’s hospitals, where it will be used in the area with the greatest need.

You can sign up as an individual or as part of a team. Places are limited so sign up now to avoid disappointment.
